WINSTON MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

A Winston Middle School student has tested positive for COVID-19.

A Wednesday post on the school’s Facebook page, said staff had been notified of the case by County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer. It said there was minimal risk to school staff and students as the student was not at school during the contagious period, so accordingly no quarantine is necessary.

The Winston-Dillard School District has not responded to a request for information from News Radio 1240 KQEN.
