Two men were arrested and drugs were seized when the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team served a search warrant at a home in Green on Tuesday night.

Lieutenant Rick McArthur said that night at approximately 10:00 p.m. members of DINT went to a residence in the 100 block of Summerwood Court. McArthur said there has been a consistent level of high-volume vehicle and foot traffic coming and going from the residence for a long period of time. He said the activity has been suspected to be drug related along with other types of lower level criminal activity.

When authorities arrived, the residence contained numerous people and was secured without incident. McArthur said a search of the residence revealed approximately a half pound of methamphetamine, an extensive amount of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.

48-year old Oscar Herrera of Fresno, California was charged with unlawful possession and delivery of methamphetamine. He was detained on $500,000 bail. 21-year old Joey Dingus of Dillard was arrested for an outstanding warrant. He was released on Wednesday.
