Two people were hurt in a crash on Garden Valley Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon.

A report from Roseburg Police said just before 1:30 p.m. an 80-year old man was traveling west on Garden Valley Boulevard when a vehicle operated by a 66-year old woman ran into the side of the first vehicle, causing significant damage to both vehicles.

The second driver had to be extricated from her vehicle and was taken to Mercy Medical Center for side pain. The report said it was unknown if the driver who caused the wreck had a medical issue or did not see the first vehicle as she had no recollection of the crash. The first driver was also taken to the hospital for observation. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

Each driver was treated and released.
