AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY BEGINS TUESDAY NIGHT

December 1, 2020 4:00 a.m.

An Air Stagnation Advisory for central Douglas County and surrounding areas is in effect from Tuesday night at 10:00 p.m. through Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said air stagnation is likely to result in diminishing air quality, especially in and near areas with significant sources of air pollution. That is likely to cause health issues for people with respiratory problems if precautions are not taken.

The Advisory area also includes Josephine and Jackson counties, and eastern Curry County.
