COVID-19 CLAIMS 9 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL TOPS 900 AS OF SUNDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 9 more lives, with the state death toll now topping 900, at 905, as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,599 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state case total to 74,120. The new cases include:

*648 in Multnomah County

*206 in Washington County

*136 in Clackamas County

*126 in Marion County

*78 in Deschutes County

*59 in Lane County

*57 in Jackson County

*35 in Polk County

*34 in Yamhill County

*30 in Linn County

*28 in Klamath County

*21 in Jefferson County

*20 in Malheur County

*18 in Columbia County

*17 in Umatilla County

*14 in Josephine County

*9 each in Douglas and Crook counties

*8 in Lake County

*7 in Benton County

*6 each in Lincoln and Wasco counties

*5 each in Hood River and Tillamook counties

*4 each in Coos and Morrow counties

*3 each in Baker and Union counties

*2 in Curry County

*1 in Clatsop County

The new deaths ranged in age from 69 to 88. 2 each lived in Malheur, Multnomah and Washington counties. 1 each lived in Jackson, Linn and Marion counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients across Oregon increased to 539. 10 more than on Saturday.
