1 MORE DEATH, 7 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS FOR COVID-19 IN DOUGLAS COUNTY AS OF SUNDAY

1 more death and 7 new positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County were reported, as of Sunday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 19th COVID-19 related death is a 96-year old woman who passed away on Sunday. She was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with COVID on November 15th.

The Douglas Public Health Network has a correction regarding the 18th COVID-19 related death.  That woman passed away on Friday.  She was incorrectly listed as being 87-years old but was actually 62 years of age.

An update from DPHN said the total number of cases is now at 930. Of those, 861 are people that have received positive test results and 69 are presumptive. 17 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are being hospitalized, 15 locally and 2 out of the area. 186 people are currently in isolation. 430 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with DPHN are supporting 616 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. There have been 18,584 negative test results for COVID-19 in the county.

The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN is Tuesday in Roseburg.
