Starting next Monday November 30th, the Roseburg Lion’s Club will begin selling See’s Candy for the Christmas holidays.

A release said funds raised will benefit the club’s various community projects. The club has been doing the sale for over 35 years.

The sale will continue through December 24th or until the candy sells out. The Lion’s candy trailer is in the northwest corner of the Sherm’s Thunderbird parking lot off of Stewart Parkway in Roseburg. Hours of operation will be 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. COVID-19 guidelines will be followed to ensure a safe but friendly candy-buying experience.

Over the years, the Roseburg Lions Club has donated monies to help with local sight and hearing recipients, various youth organizations, community projects, cancer research assistance, Umpqua Community College scholarships, and more.

The public is also welcome to bring their used eye glasses to the candy trailer. They will be used to give the gift of sight to many less fortunate.
