COVID-19 CLAIMS 6 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 826 AS OF MONDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 6 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 826, as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,174 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state case total to 66,333. The new cases include:

*254 in Multnomah County

*225 in Washington County

*120 in Marion County

*116 in Clackamas County

*80 in Jackson County

*71 in Lane County

*56 in Umatilla County

*44 in Deschutes County

*26 in Union County

*25 in Polk County

*18 each in Douglas and Columbia counties

*17 in Yamhill County

*15 in Linn County

*11 in Josephine County

*10 in Benton County

*8 each in Crook and Jefferson counties

*7 each in Coos, Morrow and Wasco counties

*6 in Hood River County

*3 in Lake County

*2 each in Baker and Clatsop counties

*1 each in Curry, Harney, Tillamook and Wheeler counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 40 to 96. 3 each lived in Marion and Multnomah counties.

The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients across Oregon, increased to 456, which is 44 more than Friday. There are 109 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds. That is 18 more than on Friday.
