A Grants Pass man died following a single vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon on Highway 42, fifteen miles west of the Douglas County border.

A release from Oregon State Police said at about 4:15 p.m. a sedan driven by 41-year old Seth Hale of Grants Pass, was eastbound when it went off the roadway and crashed near milepost 32. Hale was transported to Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, where on Thursday he was pronounced deceased.

OSP was assisted by the Bridge Rural Fire Department.
