A Roseburg man was jailed after a police chase on Monday night.
A report from Myrtle Creek Police said at about 10:00 p.m. an officer attempted to stop a motorcycle on Interstate Five at the Myrtle Creek interchange. The pursuit ensued into Dillard, where the passenger jumped off the bike. The report said the chase then went into Winston and the driver stopped after taking a dead-end street.
32-year old Christopher Fain was taken into custody without further incident. The man was charged with elude in a vehicle and for recklessly endangering another person. Fain also had warrants out for his arrest. He was detained without bail.
