Wednesday is Veterans Day and that means there are a number of closures.

Federal, state, county, and city offices are closed. Schools will not be in session. No regular mail will be delivered. UTrans buses will not be in operation. Banks and credit unions are closed. Some professional offices are closed. Most retail stores remain open.

Under County government, the Douglas County Museum and the Umpqua River Lighthouse Museum will be open for their normal business hours.
