A Roseburg man was jailed for a prior assault by Roseburg Police on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at about 12:40 a.m. 34-year old Jason Kottke was contacted at his residence in the 1,000 block of Southeast Rice. The assault allegedly took place on October 30th.

Kottke was charged with felony strangulation, menacing and for fourth-degree assault. Bail was set at $106,250.
