A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the south-central Oregon Cascades, eastern Douglas County foothills and Jackson County from 4:00 p.m. Saturday through 4:00 a.m. Sunday.

The advisory area includes Crater Lake and Diamond Like.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said snow is expected. 1 to 3 inches are forecast for the eastern Douglas County foothills and Jackson County, with 2 to 5 inches in higher mountain areas. Winds up to 30 miles per hour are forecast at higher elevations.

Drivers should plan on slippery road conditions and low visibility and should carry tire chains.
