MAN JAILED ON WEAPONS AND DRUG CHARGES

A Roseburg man was jailed on weapons and drug charges on Thursday morning.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 7:15 a.m. William Logan was contacted at Gaddis Park after allegedly agreeing to sell narcotics to an undercover police officer at that location. The report said when the 19-year old arrived, he was detained without incident. He was reportedly found to be in possession of fake narcotics and three concealed handguns, one of which had a serial number obliterated. Logan was also wanted for allegedly stealing money in a previous case.

A small amount of LSD and psilocybin mushrooms were located in the center console and were determined to belong to a female occupant in the vehicle. She was cited and released at corrections. A 17-year old male in the vehicle was taken to juvenile detention.

Logan was charged with first degree theft, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, unlawful delivery of an imitation schedule 1 controlled substance, allegedly altering a firearm and for three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm. Bail was set at $625,000.
