COVID-19 CLAIMS 6 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 716 AS OF FRIDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 6 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 716, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 770 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 48,608. The new cases include:

*199 in Multnomah County

*120 in Washington County

*83 in Jackson County

*77 in Marion County

*40 in Lane County

*38 in Deschutes County

*37 in Umatilla County

*17 in Benton County

*16 in Malheur County

*15 each in Polk and Yamhill counties

*13 each in Douglas and Clackamas counties

*10 in Linn County

*8 in Union County

*7 each in Grant and Jefferson counties

*6 each in Coos and Curry counties

*5 each in Clatsop, Columbia, Crook, Harney, Josephine, and Klamath counties

*4 each in Baker and Morrow counties

*1 each in Hood River and Lake counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 59 to 95. 3 lived in Multnomah County. 1 each lived in Marion, Wasco and Washington counties.
