8 more people have received positive test results for COVID-19, as of Tuesday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 400. Of those, 355 are people that have received positive test results, and 45 are presumptive. The update called the trend of increased cases “…increasingly alarming for all of us”. There have been 8 deaths. 5 county COVID-19 patients are being hospitalized, with 4 hospitalized locally and 1 hospitalized outside the area. 54 people are in isolation. 383 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are currently supporting 437 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. 16,062 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.
