A woman was taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle wreck on Thursday.
A report from Roseburg Police said just after 8:30 a.m. a 35-year old man was traveling southbound on Northeast Stephens when he allegedly went through a red light at the intersection with Stewart Parkway. His vehicle hit the side of a second vehicle which had been going westbound on Alameda and was going through the intersection on a green light. The report said the impact pushed the first vehicle into a third vehicle that was sitting in the turn lane, waiting to turn and head northbound on Stephens.
The second driver, a 22-year old, was transported to Mercy Medical Center by ambulance for a complaint of pain to her back and hip. She was treated and released. The other two drivers were not injured.
All three vehicles had to be towed from the scene. The driver who caused the accident was cited for failing to obey a traffic control device.
