The Pacific Power Foundation is working with organizations in the Umpqua Valley to help rebuild from the Labor Day windstorm.
The foundation is the nonprofit arm of the utility. It is prioritizing over $2 million to organizations across the six states it serves, according to a release.
A new round of grant funding will benefit organizations on the frontlines of the rebuilding efforts. Groups that help the most at-risk members of communities can also apply for funding to purchase masks, shields, food or other essential needs. The deadline to apply is December 15th.
