A man was jailed after a menacing incident on Tuesday night.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said just before 8:00 p.m. 68-year old Lawrence Johns allegedly was intoxicated and threatened a victim with a knife while at her residence on Surprise Valley, in south Douglas County. The man reportedly stabbed the wall of the trailer, putting the victim in fear for her life.
Johns was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, first degree criminal trespass and for menacing. Bail was set at $62,500.
