A Roseburg man was jailed following an alleged attack with a metal pipe on Saturday.

Information from Roseburg Police said at about 11:00 p.m. 25-year old Alexander White reportedly hit the victim over the head with the pipe, causing a large cut to the victim’s head. The incident took place in the 1800 block of Giles. The report said the victim was not cooperative with officers or paramedics.

White was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and for second degree assault. He was detained on $300,000 bail.
