MAN CHARGED WITH FELONY ASSAULT

A Roseburg man was charged with 4th degree felony assault following an alleged incident on Saturday.

A report from Roseburg Police said 22-year old Dalton Geisler allegedly grabbed a female victim by the upper arms and threw her up against the wall several times, in the 2500 block of Northeast Stephens. The report said the victim had multiple bruises and swelling on her left arm and right hip. The altercation also reportedly caused a piercing on the victim’s chest to partially rip out and bleed. The incident allegedly caused substantial pain to the victim, who is over 4 months pregnant. The suspect was detained at about 11:45 a.m.

Geisler was held on $50,000 bail.
