A Freeze Watch remains in effect from late Saturday night through Sunday morning.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28 degrees are possible. The Watch area includes Roseburg, Sutherlin, Elkton, Tiller, Azalea and nearby areas.

Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation and could possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Pipes should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Residents with outdoor sprinklers should drain them and cover above-ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
