Contractors with the City of Roseburg will be performing inspection work at the Stewart Park Pavilion next Monday and Tuesday, October 26th and 27th.

A release from the City said during that time, the playground and pavilion will be closed to the public.

Communications Specialist Eric Johnson said contractors will be inspecting the roof structure. Johnson said this is to ensure that the roof removal process goes smoothly, and that the roof upgrade to the structure can be installed successfully. Signs will be posted prior to the start of the inspection, with the area closed to park patrons while the work is being done.

Johnson said the pavilion is scheduled to receive upgrades in the following weeks, which includes the installation of a new roof. More information will be sent out in the coming weeks.
