COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 635 as of Wednesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 331 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 40,443. The new cases include:
*56 in Multnomah County
*55 in Washington County
*43 in Marion County
*40 in Lane County
*36 in Jackson County
*27 in Clackamas County
*19 in Umatilla County
*9 in Deschutes County
*8 in Malheur County
*7 in Douglas County
*6 in Linn County
*4 each in Coos and Yamhill counties
*3 in Hood River County
*2 each in Columbia, Crook, Harney, Polk and Union counties
*1 each in Baker, Josephine, Tillamook, and Wasco counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 60 to 70. 1 lived in Multnomah County and 1 lived in Washington County. Both had underlying conditions, according to the OHA.
