A Roseburg man was jailed following an alleged harassment incident on Monday night.
A report from Roseburg Police said at about 5:30 p.m. officers responded to the Rodeway Inn on Southeast Stephens for a report that the 31-year old had punched a victim in the eye, after the victim would not let the suspect use his cell phone, and wouldn’t give him a cigarette.
The suspect was contacted later at a relative’s home and was taken into custody. He was charged with harassment and a probation violation and was detained without bail.
