SUPPRESSION REPAIR WORK CONTINUES ON ARCHIE CREEK FIRE

Suppression repair work continues on the Archie Creek Fire, east of Glide.

An update from Northwest Incident Management Team 12 said that work is taking place on containment lines to restore drainage on the landscape. Resource advisors from the Forest Service are working closely with firefighters on the effort.

Hazard trees and snags are being removed along transportation corridors. Firefighters continue with patrol and monitor work in the fire area. The fire remains 95 percent contained. 221 people are assigned to the fire.
