One man was taken to the hospital after a commercial truck and trailer crashed into a creek next to Interstate Five on Wednesday morning.

A report from Oregon State Police said at 8:15 a.m. the vehicle was northbound about five miles south of Canyonville. For unknown reasons, the rig left the road, and broke through the guard rail before wrecking. The driver was taken to Mercy Medical Center with a minor injury. The truck and trailer had to be towed from the scene.
