The containment level for the Archie Creek Fire east of Glide, has risen slightly to 95 percent.

An update from Northwest Incident Management Team 12 said firefighters are continuing suppression repair work to minimize erosion and to protect natural and cultural resources. Hazard trees are being removed along transportation corridors.

261 people are assigned to the fire.

The Thielsen Fire near Diamond Lake is 75 percent contained with 87 people working on that fire.
