COVID-19 CLAIMS 3 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL TO 597 AS OF FRIDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives, raising the state death toll to 597, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 425 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 36,526. The new cases include:

*101 in Multnomah County

*50 in Marion County

*39 in Washington County

*37 in Lane County

*32 in Clackamas County

*28 in Malheur County

*24 in Jackson County

*17 in Linn County

*15 in Yamhill County

*14 in Deschutes County

*9 in Umatilla County

*7 each in Douglas, Josephine, Polk and Hood River counties

*5 in Jefferson County

*4 each in Coos and Benton counties

*3 each in Columbia and Wasco counties

*2 each in Curry, Klamath, Tillamook and Union counties

*1 each in Clatsop, Lincoln and Morrow counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 73 to 91. One each lived in Lane, Multnomah and Wasco counties.
