Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle wreck on Wednesday morning.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at 10:25 a.m. a 77-year old woman was driving in the 900 block of Orchard Lane, west of Roseburg. The woman was making a turn into a driveway. The report said there was another car behind her vehicle. The second driver, a 58-year old woman, just saw two slow moving vehicles in front of her so decided to pass both of them on the left side. This happened as the first vehicle started to make the turn.
The report said the second vehicle hit the first vehicle’s rear left door. The first driver and a passenger in her vehicle were taken to Mercy Medical Center via ambulance for pain in their neck and back.
The second driver was cited for unsafe passing on the left.
