MAN JAILED AFTER ALLEGEDLY PULLING A KNIFE

A Roseburg man was jailed following an alleged menacing incident on Friday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 11:30 p.m. the 41-year old reportedly pulled a knife on a 16-year old male after a brief physical altercation in the parking of Garden Valley Mini-Mart, according to an employee of the business. The teen left the scene before he could be contacted.

The suspect was charged with menacing and for second degree disorderly conduct. He was detained on $8,750.
