PLANT CLINIC IN ROSEBURG OPEN WEEKDAYS

October 1, 2020 3:15 a.m.

The slowing down of the growing season for plants is a sign to shorten the days for the plant clinic in Roseburg, operated by the OSU Douglas County Extension Master Gardeners.

The clinic is now open Monday’s, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Master Gardener Cheryl Caplan said to receive help for home gardening questions, either call 541-236-3052 or email douglasmg@oregonstate.edu. Caplan said while clients are not allowed to enter the clinic, they can leave samples and questions at a table near the doorway of the Extension office. She said if the Master Gardener staffing the clinic is agreeable, he or she may step outside to meet the client. Masks and social distancing are being practiced. The clinic is at 1134 Southeast Douglas Avenue, next to the courthouse.

The Douglas County Master Gardener Plant Clinic is a free service offered through the OSU Douglas County Extension Service, as a resource for all home gardeners to learn and grow as a gardener.
