Crews with the Oregon Department of Transportation are making progress on repairing roads damaged by the recent wildfires, including Highway 138E, east of Glide.
Pilot cars are operating in an eight-mile stretch starting at Idleyld Park and motorists should expect delays.
A release said along a 24-mile stretch of damage, crews have removed imminent threat trees from 22 of those miles. In that same area, three miles of pavement have been damaged. Of just over 7.5 miles of guardrail that has been assessed, 5.5 miles have been damaged.
