Oregon Insurance Commissioner Andrew Stolfi will host a statewide virtual Wildfire Insurance Town Hall on Thursday at 12:00 p.m.

A release from the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services said Stolfi will be joined by representatives from the Oregon Division of Financial Regulation to answer common questions about wildfire insurance, the claims process, and how the division can help Oregonians.

The release said those affected by the wildfires are encouraged to tune in to the live stream on the division’s video webpage: https://dfr.oregon.gov/Pages/videos.aspx.

Stolfi said the goal for the town hall is to provide residents with important information they can use right now to take some initial steps toward recovery.
