COVID-19 CLAIMS 1 MORE LIFE, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 547 AS OF SUNDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 547, as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 242 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 32,820. The new cases include:

*72 in Multnomah County

*26 in Marion County

*24 in Lane County

*23 in Washington County

*15 in Deschutes County

*14 in Umatilla County

*10 in Clackamas County

*9 in Jackson County

*8 in Clatsop County

*6 in Columbia County

*5 each in Douglas and Jefferson counties

*3 each in Linn and Wasco counties

*1 each in Benton, Coos, Grant, Lake, Lincoln, Morrow, Polk, Tillamook and Wallowa counties

Oregon’s 547th COVID-19 death is an 81-year old woman in Multnomah County. She tested positive on September 23rd and died on September 26th at Providence Portland Medical Center. She had underlying conditions, according to the OHA.
