MAN JAILED AFTER MENACING INCIDENT

A Roseburg man was jailed after a menacing incident on Wednesday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at 9:30 a.m. 37-year old Edward Green was allegedly yelling and swearing at employees of the Safeway deli on Northeast Stephens. The report said when Green was asked to leave, he became irate and threatened to come back to the location and shoot the manager.

Green was contacted and taken into custody. Charges included menacing and second degree counts of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
