COVID-19 CLAIMS 1 MORE LIFE, STATE DEATH TOLL TO 526 AS OF SUNDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state death toll to 526 as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 208 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 30,801. The new cases include:

*41 in Multnomah County

*28 in Washington County

*23 in Lane County

*21 in Marion County

*18 in Clackamas County

*15 in Malheur County

*9 in Deschutes County

*8 in Umatilla County

*7 each in Benton and Linn counties

*5 in Jackson County

*4 each in Hood River and Clatsop counties

*3 each in Columbia, Morrow and Yamhill counties

*2 each in Coos, Douglas, and Jefferson counties

*1 each in Gilliam, Klamath, and Polk counties

Oregon’s 526th COVID-19 death is a 73-year old woman in Marion County who tested positive on September 1st and died on September 18th at Providence St. Vincent medical Center. She had underlying conditions, according to the OHA.
