Two people were hurt in a head on wreck on Highway 42 on Thursday afternoon.

A report from the Oregon State Police said just after 1:30 p.m. a pickup was pulling a boat on a trailer was traveling eastbound in the Tenmile area. The vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons. It went into the ditch before the driver overcorrected and crossed into the westbound lane.

The report said the pickup struck a westbound sedan. The operator of the pickup had minor injuries, but declined treatment. The driver of the car was transported to Mercy Medical Center for x-rays.
