A motorcycle rider was injured when his bike struck a barrier on Interstate Five Tuesday night.

A report from Oregon State Police said at about 10:15 p.m. the accident occurred as the motorcycle was going south in the area of Clarks Branch Road. The 54-year old rider was transported to Mercy Medical Center where he was treated and released.
