With the evacuation level lowering recently to Glide and parts of the surrounding area, the U.S. Post Office in Glide and Idleyld Park has reopened.

Post Master Lisa Tenbrook told News Radio 1240 KQEN that the staff had been giving out mail for both communities at the Roseburg Post Office for several days, due to the number of people evacuated.

Tenbrook said they returned to their home locations on Tuesday. The Glide Post Office is open again weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. while the Idleyld Park office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Residents are welcome to come pickup their mail or take care of other postal business.
