AIR POLLUTION ADVISORY CONTINUES

The Douglas Timber Operators have partnered with the Umpqua Fisheries Enhancement Derby to provide direct relief to individuals and communities affected by the Archie Creek Fire.

DTO Executive Director Matt Hill said the are accepting contributions which will go directly to provide financial assistance, food and supplies as quickly as possible. On Sunday, DTO delivered a truckload of supplies to the 138 Grill in Glide which has been serving free meals to impacted community members since the evacuations began.

Hill said contributions can be made by writing a check to the Umpqua Fisheries Enhancement Derby and mailing it, or dropping it off at the DTO office at 3000 Northwest Stewart Parkway in Roseburg, 97470. Hill said the Umpqua Fisheries Enhancement Derby will be processing all contributions, which will be tax deductible.
