COVID-19 CLAIMS 6 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 505 AS OF SATURDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 6 more lives, raising the state death toll to 505 as of Saturday.

Oregon Health Authority Director Patrick Allen said the “…500th death marks another sad milestone for the COVID-19 pandemic in Oregon”.  OHA reported 293 new confirmed and presumptive cases of the virus, bringing the state total to 29,156.

*48 in Marion County

*28 in Malheur County

*27 in Umatilla County

*26 in Washington County

*15 in Clackamas County

*13 in Lane County

*11 in Jackson County

*9 in Yamhill County

*5 each in Deschutes, Morrow and Polk counties

*4 each in Douglas, Jefferson, Columbia, and Polk counties

*3 each in Benton and Linn counties

*2 each in Baker, Clatsop, Klamath and Union counties

*1 each in Lincoln and Wasco counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 49 to 97. 2 lived in Multnomah County. 1 each lived in Umatilla, Washington, Clackamas, and Lane counties.
