Residents evacuated from the Glide and Idleyld Park areas can pick up their mail at the Roseburg Post Office.

Postmaster Lisa Tenbrook told News Radio 1240 KQEN that staff was able to get mail waiting to be picked up at the Glide Post Office to Roseburg, after evacuations took place. She said they were not able to get to Idleyld Park for mail that was waiting there. New mail though for either post office is now available in Roseburg.

Tenbrook said due to a high call volume, impacted residents should not call the Roseburg Post Office, but simply come in. She said it would be best if people pickup mail between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Mail will continue to be available in Roseburg until residents are able to return to their homes in Glide and Idleyld Park. The zip codes for those areas are 97443 and 97447. Those picking up mail need to show their identification in order to get their mail.
