MAN CITED AFTER ALLEGED HIT AND RUN INCIDENT

A Roseburg man was cited after an alleged hit and run incident on Tuesday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 4:30 p.m. a business reported that a company vehicle was parked in a small lot, just to the north of another business near the corner of Stephens and Neuner,

The report said an employee left after parking the vehicle next to a pickup. A short time later the driver of the second vehicle left and reportedly backed into the front passenger door of the first vehicle, causing significant damage to it.

The man then left the scene without stopping, according to the report. The 38-year old was contacted later, cited and then released.
