ROSEBURG MAN CITED IN IDENTITY THEFT INCIDENT

A Roseburg man was cited on Sunday, due to in an identity theft incident.

A report from Roseburg Police said at 12:15 a.m. 57-year old Todd Sherman was contacted in the 700 block of Douglas Avenue. The report said the victim’s wallet was stolen from the parking lot of Coastal Farm on August 25th and the suspect tried to use the victim’s debit card at multiple locations.

Sherman was developed as the suspect. He was cited for computer crime, fraudulent use of a credit card, and for third degree theft. He was released after the citation was issued. The victim’s property was recovered.
