HEAT ADVISORY THROUGH 11:00 P.M. TUESDAY FOR CENTRAL DOUGLAS COUNTY

September 8, 2020 4:20 a.m.

A Heat Advisory remains in effect in central Douglas County through 11:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said high temperatures in the mid-90s to 100 degrees are forecast.

The Advisory said the combination of warm overnight temperatures, hot daytime temperatures and dry conditions will make it difficult to stay hydrated and cool. The potential for heat related illness will be significantly higher, especially for those working outside and those who lack access to adequate cooling resources.
