COVID-19 HAS CLAIMED 2 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH AT 486 AS OF TUESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 4 more lives, raising the state death toll to 486, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 169 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 28,355. The new cases include:

*39 in Multnomah County

*25 each in Marion and Washington counties

*17 each in Clackamas and Jackson counties

*11 in Yamhill County

*10 in Umatilla County

*7 in Lane County

*4 each in Morrow, Malheur and Polk counties

*2 in Jefferson County

*1 each in Benton, Crook, Deschutes, and Wasco counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 72 to 100. 3 lived in Marion County and 1 lived in Lane County.
