FOREST INDUSTRIAL FIRE PRECAUTION MOVES TO LEVEL 4

Due to increased fire danger levels, the Umpqua National Forest will enter Industrial Fire Precaution Level 4, on Tuesday.

Under IFPL 4, industrial operators are prohibited from operating on Umpqua National Forest Lands. All firewood cutting on the forest is prohibited. Those with mining permits and all commercial permit holders must cease operations.

The forest remains at a Extreme fire danger rating and Public Use Restrictions Level 2 prohibits all campfires on all Umpqua National Forest lands.
