COVID-19 has claimed 5 more lives, bringing the state death toll to 480, as of Saturday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 261 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 27,856. The new cases include:
*49 in Marion County
*43 in Multnomah County
*33 in Washington County
*31 in Malheur County
*23 in Clackamas County
*18 in Jackson County
*17 in Umatilla County
*10 in Yamhill County
*6 in Lane County
*5 each in Polk and Wasco counties
*3 each in Coos and Josephine counties
*2 each in Columbia, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Union counties
*1 each in Deschutes, Klamath, Linn, Morrow, and Tillamook counties
The new reported deaths ranged in age from 53 to 80. One each lived in Marion, Multnomah, Umatilla, Clackamas, and Washington counties.
