A Roseburg woman was cited for second degree child neglect on Tuesday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 2:30 p.m. the 34-year old allegedly left her 2-year old child in her running vehicle while she went into a store in the 2100 block of Stewart Parkway. The report said the vehicle had shut off while she was in the store and she came out about five minutes later.

The woman was released after being cited.
